The safer way to pay.

Apple Pay is a mobile payment service that lets users make payments using an iPhone or Apple device. When you make a purchase, Apple Pay uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code. So, your debit card number is never stored on your device and your card number is never shared with merchants.

Enroll today:

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone or Apple device.
  2. Tap the plus sign (+) next to the Apple Pay icon and follow the step-by-step instructions.
  3. After you have entered the requested card information, tap Contact Central Bank to verify your card. A Shazam representative will ask you details about your last 5 debit card transactions.
TIP: Have your online banking account open during the call. That way, you can easily answer the verification questions asked by the representative.
  4. Within 5 minutes of successfully verifying your card, Apple will send a notification to your device letting you know your Apple Pay is active.

Apple Pay works with iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and newer, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3 and newer, or your Apple Watch paired with iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.

What is Apple Pay?

Apple Pay is a mobile payment service that lets users make payments using an iPhone. Because your card details are never shared by Apple when you use Apple Pay, making payments with your iPhone is more secure than using your actual debit card.

What are the benefits?

When a debit card is enrolled in Apple Pay, a unique token is assigned to the card. This token number is then sent to us across merchant networks. Because the actual card number is not being sent, it makes transactions more secure and reduces fraud.

Which debit cards can enroll in Apple Pay?

Personal and business debit cards can enroll in Apple Pay, HSA and ATM cards can not be enrolled.

Which phones are eligible?

iPhone® SE, iPhone® 6 and newer, iPadAir 2 and iPadMini 3 devices work with Apple Pay.

Is Apple Pay safe?

Yes, because your card information is never shared or exposed.

What happens if I lose my iPhone®?

You should first put your phone in lost mode. When this is done, all tokens will be suspended. If the device is found and taken off lost mode, the token will be active again.

What happens when I lose my card?

Central Bank will hot card your debit card and you should delete the token from your iPhone®. When you receive your new card, you will need to enroll it on your iPhone®.

Can a card be used on more than one phone?

Yes.

If I change phones, do I need to re-enroll?

Yes, the token is not stored in iCloud.

What happens if the card’s expiration date or security code changes?

The token will be deactivated and the cardholder will need to go through the enrollment process to re-enroll.
