When will I get my new card?
Your new Visa debit card will be mailed USPS the week of April 4 and may take 7 – 10 business days to arrive in your mailbox.
When should I activate my new card?
Please active your new card when it arrives, but continue to use your MasterCard debit card until Monday, April 24. On Monday, April 24, begin using your new Visa debit card and destroy your old MasterCard debit card.
How do I activate my new card?
Please follow the instructions included on your new card. The instructions read “IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your card must be activated before it can be used. To activate and set a PIN, call toll free 1 (800) 992-3808.”
How do I set up my personal identification number (PIN)?
You will set up your PIN during the activation process.
Will my new Visa debit card have a different card number?
Yes. If you have any automatic payments attached to your old MasterCard debit card number (like Amazon, Spotify or Apple Music), please update the payment information with your new card number.
When will my old debit card stop working?
Your MasterCard debit card will stop working between 2 am and 6 am on Monday, April 24.
When will my new Visa debit card start working?
Your new Visa debit card will begin working between 2 am and 6 am on Monday, April 24.
What should I do with my old MasterCard debit card?
Please destroy your old card with a shredder or scissors before disposing it on Monday, April 24.
What should I do if I didn’t receive my new debit card before Monday, April 24?

When can I add my Visa debit card to my Mobile Wallet?
On Monday, April 24, you can add your new Visa debit card to your Mobile Wallet.
How do I add my card to my Mobile or Apple Wallet?
If you use an iPhone, open the Wallet app, tap the (+) icon in the top right corner, then “Debit or Credit Card” and follow the prompts on your screen. On your Google device, open the Google Wallet app. At the bottom of your screen, tap “Add to Wallet” then follow the prompts.
What are my daily limits for point-of-sale purchases and ATM withdrawals?
Your daily limits will remain the same, from your MasterCard debit card to your new Visa debit card. To confirm your specific limits, please call our Customer Care Center at (866) 732-2190 or contact your local Central Bank.
Can I increase my daily limits?
Limit increases are subject to approval. To request a one-time increase, please call our Customer Care Center at (866) 732-2190 or contact your local branch.
How long does it take to get a replacement card?
Depending on the urgency, we can issue you a new card one of 3 ways:
Do you need your card immediately? With digital issuance, we can push your new Visa debit card to your Mobile Wallet immediately, via Mobile Banking.
Do you need a physical card within 1 day? We can print you a new card in-branch as soon as you request a replacement card. However, the card won’t work until the next day, approximately 12 – 24 hours after the request.
Do you have 7 – 10 days? We can mail your replacement card to your home or business, and it will arrive within 7 – 10 business days following your request.
What is digital issuance?
Rather than visiting a branch or waiting for your physical card to arrive in the mail, Central Bank can push your new Visa debit card to your Mobile Wallet immediately, via Mobile Banking.
Can I continue to use Privileged Status ATMs surcharge free with my Visa debit card?
You can continue to use Privileged Status ATMs; however, you will incur surcharges when you use your new Visa debit card at the Privileged Status ATMs.
Will Central Bank continue to refund my ATM fees after the conversion?
Yes. Simply bring in or mail your original ATM receipt within 60 days and we will refund the surcharge. Excludes foreign surcharge fees.
