We’re excited to open the doors to our brand‑new bank on Monday, April 13, 2026, continuing our commitment to the community and the customers we’ve been proud to serve for years.
Our temporary location at 629 5th Ave. will permanently close at 5:30 pm on Friday, April 10, as our team transitions to our new home. We look forward to welcoming you on Monday, April 13, for our first day of business at 600 Main Ave.
Our new branch reflects Central Bank’s long-standing commitment to the Brookings community. Designed with our customers in-mind, the space offers a comfortable, thoughtfully planned environment to meet with local bankers, manage your finances and build relationships with a team that understands the area.

We joined the Brookings community in 2020 through the acquisition of nine MetaBank community banking locations. From day one, Brookings has felt like home.

With its downtown location, the new branch ensures continued easy access to Central Bank’s full range of personal, business and agricultural banking services. The new facility is designed to support both day-to-day banking needs and meaningful financial conversations with local decision-makers.
Join us for our week-long Grand Opening Celebration beginning April 27, with customer appreciation activities throughout the week and a Community Open House and Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, April 28, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
