The security of your accounts is our top priority! We’ve implemented a two-factor authentication feature to confirm your identity and ensure your personal Online and Mobile Banking accounts remain secure.
Introducing SecureNow, an out-of-band authentication service to guard your personal information.
Each time you log into your personal Online or Mobile Banking account, SecureNow not only confirms your credentials but also the device you’re using. If our system detects a new device or suspects any unusual activity, we’ll prompt you to confirm your identity with a one-time passcode, sent to you by a text message or phone call.
Getting Started
Online Banking
When you log into your personal Online Banking account on Dec. 2 or after, please follow the prompts to set-up your SecureNow preferences.
After confirming or entering your home, work and cell phone numbers (screen 1), you can choose to receive a one-time verification passcode by a text message or a recorded phone call (screen 2).
Once you receive and enter the passcode, you’ll be taken to your Online Banking home screen, as usual.
Mobile Banking
When you log into your personal Mobile Banking account on Dec. 15 or after, please follow the prompts to set-up your SecureNow preferences.
If you’ve already set-up SecureNow through Online Banking, you do not need to
re-enroll through Mobile Banking.
24/7 Fraud Defense
After your SecureNow preferences are set-up, the verification passcode prompt will appear if our system does not recognize your desktop or mobile device, or detects suspicious activity.
If you experience any issues during or after the set-up, please contact a banker at any Central Bank office. Thank you for choosing Central Bank!
